A lovely spacious vacation home with large 10.5m XX-L-shaped private pool (not 100% private / slightly overlooked) made to really enjoy the vacation and enjoy the moments together with friends and family.
Lie back in the shallow end (50cm) with a can of beer or play with the kids.
You can also swim a few lengths because the pool is more than 10 meters long.
Casa Milvan has a large (50m2) covered terrace to enjoy eating out of the sun but also with places to lie in the sun.
Located just outside the white mountain village of Competa in the Axarquia region, is the perfect place to relax under the sun and enjoy the tranquility, the wonderful climate and the beauty of Andalusia.
The location of the house in the mountains among the olive trees, offers the tranquility of the mountain country and at the same time you have the convenience of the village with its stores, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes within walking distance (mountain up mountain down) !!!!
Since late 2017, the house is accessible via a real concrete road (instead of the former bumpy path). There are a few hairpin turns in the last 400 meters from the main road but they get used quickly.
Casa Milvan has 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The house consists of two parts which is ideal because everyone can choose to start or end the day at their own time.
Around the house are several terraces and seating areas, so that at any time of day somewhere shade can be sought.
In the main house with high (4m in the tip) sloping ceilings is a spacious living room (with fireplace for winter evenings), 2 spacious bedrooms with high ceilings, bathroom and a very spacious open kitchen with all amenities.
From the living room you step onto the large (and completely fenced) terrace from where you have views over the valley and Andalusian mountains.
The terrace is a wonderful place for breakfast, sunbathing, dining, enjoying balmy evenings and admiring the stars.
Next to the house is the L-shaped 10m long pool with separate "paddling pool" of 60cm deep, a second terrace and the bbq area, from here you can reach by stairs the lower part which has another small terrace. The edge of the pool on the valley side is 4 meters high, this is for families with (small) children something to keep in mind because there is danger of falling. It is also not allowed to step on the edge of the pool on the valley side.
In the basement under the terrace (with private entrance) is another spacious bedroom, a small shower toilet bathroom. There are also fans.
Casa Milvan is the perfect base for discovering other white mountain villages, natural parks (hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rafting etc), beaches of the Costa del Sol and the cities of Malaga and Granada.
Cómpeta. One of the largest white mountain villages in the Axarquia region in the mountains of Andalusia. The village lies at an altitude of 665 meters and has a wonderfully dry and warm climate. Despite the many Europeans who have second homes here, it has retained its Spanish culture and customs.
*5 minutes to Competa (15-20 minute "hike" for fit people without disabilities)
*25 minutes to the coast (Torrox costa or Algrrobo costa)
*45 minutes to Malaga
*50 minutes to Malaga airport
*80 minutes to Granada

Nb. Because we have had guests in the past who have problems with nature, we point out to you that there may be wasps in the area that come to drink from the pool. We always check our property for nests, but this does not guarantee a wasp-free vacation.
