Wij Femke en Reinder hebben een familiebedrijf in het mooie Oosterend tegen het duingebied wat doorloopt tot aan het strand. Het familiebedrijf is van een boerenbedrijf omgebouwd tot comfortabele logies accommodatie. Van het boerenbedrijf is alleen de boerderij en de Reddingboot behouden gebleven de rest is nieuw gebouwd en het bestaande totaal omgetoverd tot luxe accommodaties. De Reddingboot is al vanaf begin 1900 in de familie nadat er van 1880 tot 1901 de roeireddingboot van Oosterend heeft in gestaan.
