De 3 huisjes liggen in een vogelrijk natuurgebied, het Reestdal. Voor gasten is er een kijkhut, die uitziet over een ven en het omringende landschap. Hier wonen en werken Han van Hagen en Lia van Rhijn. Beiden zijn ze beeldende kunstenaars. Zij laten zich vooral inspireren door het gebied om hen heen.
