Who we are

In the year 2001, we started renting out a mobile home on the beautiful Wadden Island of Terschelling in the north of the Netherlands. Soon after, we developed a website that showed the selection of holiday homes on the Wadden Islands. As pioneers in the holiday home industry, we have grown enormously since then. Almost 25 years later, we have become a leading holiday home company in the Netherlands and Belgium with our websites Holland-vakantiehuis.nl and Belgie-vakantiehuis.be. Thousands of private holiday home owners have been using our unique platform for decades.

We not only offer holiday homes in the Netherlands and Belgium, but also elsewhere in the world. With our website Wereldvakantiehuis.nl, we offer private holiday home owners a platform to rent out their holiday homes anywhere in the world.

Our mission

Our mission is to put landlord and tenant of a holiday home in direct contact with each other, without being in between ourselves. This also applies to selling or buying a holiday home. We do not charge any commission on a booking, which means that renting or buying a holiday home can never be cheaper!

Our headquarters are located in the historic town of Bolsward in the beautiful province of Friesland in the Netherlands, where our Villaokay team enjoys working every day.
